Who is Nilo Lattimore?

A court hearing turned violent on Thursday when the man accused of stabbing a mother and throwing her young son into the Ohio River was attacked by the boy’s father.

Desien Brown, accused in the deaths of Nilo and Nitessa Lattimore, has filed a motion in court to injunction on whether to allow Nilo and Nitessa Lattimore Taped confessions in murder cases are heard as evidence. The judge ruled that this was allowed at trial.

Brown’s hearing had just ended when Nilo Lattimore’s father stepped forward and punched Brown repeatedly.

Father Tonio Hughes was pinned to the ground by two officers who asked the judge to press the panic button for more support.

But even after he was handcuffed, Hughes stood up and tried to break free from the police before Brown was led out of the courtroom.

Hughes was escorted out shortly after. Judge Megan Shanahan found Hughes in contempt of court and sentenced him to seven days in prison at the Hamilton County Justice Center.

Brown’s next court date is Aug. 29.

Nyteisha Lattimore, 29, was stabbed to death in an apartment in Walnut Hill on December 5, 2020, prosecutors said. Her body was found on the banks of the Ohio River near the Purple Man Bridge on December 12, 2020.

Dieters said the killer bought a body bag online and took her body to the river a week later.

Deters said Nylo Lattimore’s blood was found on a Paw Patrol blanket recovered with Nyteisha Lattimore’s body. The child’s stroller was also found in the Ohio River.

A thorough search of the boy was unsuccessful, and prosecutors said investigations showed he was killed by the same man who killed the boy’s mother.

Brown now faces the death penalty. He was charged with two counts of aggravated murder, one count of aggravated torture of a corpse and one count of tampering with evidence.
