Zamarod Arif Biography

Who is Zamarod Arif?

The family of a woman who miraculously survived a horrific Range Rover crash says ‘thank God’ she’s still alive.

Zamarod Arif, 26, was a passenger in the car as he drove through the fence into a parked Tesla and landed on the subway tracks.

She is understood to have only survived the accident in which a 33-year-old mother was killed while wearing a seat belt.

Driver Rida Al Mousawi, 24, remained in a critical condition in hospital on Monday after her £120,000 car slipped off the road and caught fire.

The Iraqi-born jewellery manager is believed to have recently bought the supercharged 4×4, which tumbled on public pavement and landed on the tracks at Park Royal tube station in north-west London.

He reportedly runs Hiba Jewellery in Edgware Road, London, where he is known to other dealers for his love of cars.

One told MailOnline: “He recently bought a Range Rover and traded in his Mercedes. The car is the most powerful version, the SVR.

“He’s a great guy and we all know him because he has a very active social life. He’s single.

Last night, the family of Miss Arif, who describes herself as a personal trainer and “body sculpting expert”, who is also studying business, said she got out of the car and remains in hospital with a broken arm and leg.

Her friend, a 33-year-old mother and eyelash technician, died after she was dumped from a Range Rover. She left behind a young daughter.

Dashcam footage shows the moment the performance 4×4 drove through a barrier on the A40 and into a Tesla dealership at 3.48am, causing thousands of pounds in damage.

A 57-year-old man is believed to be loading up in the city centre when the Range Rover struck him. He suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

Miss Arif’s brother Raza Arif told the Daily Mail: “I found out at 8am. I got a call from the police saying something had happened to my sister. She survived means a lot. That’s me blood, that’s my flesh, that’s my everything.

“I’m very happy, thank God. I couldn’t ask for more.

“As his brother, he frustrated me so much. We were all shocked at how to understand someone going 100 mph in a 40 mph zone. It doesn’t make sense, it doesn’t make any sense.

A source at Jaguar Land Rover, which produces the Range Rover, told the Daily Mail that the Range Rover could be going over 100 mph on the road.

Uber driver Nawaf Ali, who was in the area at the time, described how a woman was “kicked” out of a Range Rover when it was blown up.

He told the Daily Mail: “She looked like she was kicked out of the car. If she was standing a few feet away I would have been shot. It was like something out of a horror movie, only worse.
