Blue-eyed soul singer Mary Caldwell’s wife posted a message on social media on March 15 confirming his death. She added that her spouse has been suffering from chronic illness for the past six years. On Bobby’s Twitter account, she wrote,
Bobby died at home. I held him tightly in my arms as he left us. I am forever heartbroken. Thank you all for your many prayers over the years. He has been “FLOXED” for the past 6 years and 2 months, which has taken away his health. Be with God my love. -Mary Caldwell
