She has already made a big name for herself with fashion-forward clothing lines.
The following runway show featured 12 aspiring designers vying for a $200,000 grand prize and the chance to showcase their visionary looks on e-commerce fashion platform Rent the Runway. In addition to supermodel Gigi Hadid, Tan kept a close eye on the contestants, with celebrity guest judges including Donatella Versace, Helena Christensen and Jennifer Hyman offering their insights.

In the final episode, three designers impressed the judges with their stunning collections, but the winner was Nigel Xavier. However, fellow finalists Deontre Hancock and Bao Tranchi had already established themselves as successful designers before the show.
Bao Tranchi’s Family and Education
Bao Tranchi grew up in the United States, but her family is from Vietnam. She was married to Brandon Shower, but the two later divorced. Now she’s dating Jeremy Woolsey.
She is the mother of two daughters, Storey and Sadie. Bao was born in Hieu Tranchi in the 1980s, and she attended Otis University.
Boutrange’s career
Bao Tranchi teamed up with footwear brand United Nude to launch a stunning festive collection, which was showcased at Harper’s Bazaar Vietnam. Bao Tranchi also served as costume designer for Zac Efron’s latest film, The Greatest Beer Run Ever, and attended the premiere.
Bao has designed costumes for films such as Charlie’s Angels and Hedwig and The Angry Inch, and has styled celebrities including Jennifer Lopez, Nicki Minaj and Laverne Cox. Bao also created an outfit for Next in Fashion judge Gigi Hadid, which Gigi wore at the 2015 American Music Awards.
Bao Tranchi’s designs often feature openwork patterns before displaying her “absolute love and passion for the female body,” as Tudum describes it. Party, her dress for Ashley Graham’s appearance at the 2016 Vanity Fair Oscars, is one of her favorite outfits. Bao Tranchi celebrates Graham’s body in a way that was earlier reserved only for sample-sized bodies.
