Tyra Banks says it’s ‘time’ to leave ‘Dancing With the Stars’
Tyra Banks has teased that she will be leaving Dancing with the Stars, saying it’s “time” for her to step down as host.
Former model-turned-host, hosting dance shows since 2020, say TMZ She is turning all her attention to her 2021 launch of SMiZE and Dream ice cream shop.
“I’m really, really focused on the business,” she said Thursday.
“SMiZE and Dream are global, so I felt it was time to really focus on my business and my startup.”
Asked if that meant she was quitting DWTS, Banks said: “I think it’s about time. I think my heart and soul are in my career and TV production, and you can’t do that with a show. at this point.
“So you see me doing stuff, not just hosting.”

The former host of “America’s Next Top Model” says that while she now wants to quit hosting, she’s open to a future TV job — but only behind the scenes.
“I think it’s time to move from the dance floor to the trading floor,” she added. “Microphone Drop”.
Modeling time on the show has been marred by various on-air issues, awkward jokes and exaggerated fashion moments.

The onslaught of her hosting duties was especially strong in Season 29 when she accidentally announced two of the worst couples on live TV — confusing domestic competitors, judges and fans.
“The world is full of talent, but with a full director, things are happening and the craziness continues,” Banks said of his misstep during an appearance at the Television Critics Association press conference in August 2021.

“I was fed certain things, said certain things I was told. But that’s how it is.”
Banks said at the time that as host, she felt she had to “throw darts for the team.”
“It was my fault, not me,” she insisted. “And I think it’s really important to speak up.”
Most recently, Banks hosted Season 31 alongside “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” star Alfonso Ribiro.
Professional dancer Mark Ballas recently announced he would be leaving the show after 20 seasons.
Former Judge Len Goodman announced his retirement in November.
