Tyga buys Avril Lavigne’s custom-made diamond necklace for $80,000

Tyga makes sure Avril Lavigne is fit for his flight.

The 33-year-old Rack City rapper spent a whopping $80,000 on a custom diamond necklace for the “Complicated” singer, 38, which she gave to her on Thursday, According to TMZ.

New York jeweler Eric Mavani said the chain consisted of 50 carats of black diamonds, white diamonds and pink sapphires.

The necklace also features Avril Lavigne’s name, a pair of A’s on a pink heart with two skulls underneath.

Avril Lavigne clearly loved her new jewelry, as she was seen wearing it in LA and posted a selfie showing off her new ice cream.

Tyga – born Micheal Ray Stevenson – reportedly asked Mavani to create a custom piece three weeks ago – around the time a Lavigne representative confirmed to Page Six that she had called off her engagement to 36-year-old Mod Sun.

At the time, a mod representative told us that the split came as a surprise to him.

“They were together and engaged when he went on tour three days ago, so if anything changes it will be news to him,” his spokesman said.

Despite their split, Avril Lavigne and Tyga attended several events together, lighting up Paris Fashion Week.

The next day, Tyga and Lavigne showed up at the Y/Project show in matching long leather jackets.

The “Girlfriend” singer paired her leather coat with a Y/Project tote and sunglasses, while the “Taste” rapper paired a trench coat with sunglasses and icy chains.
