African Democratic Congress (ADC) presidential candidate Dumebi Kachikwu slams APC presidential candidate Bola Tinubu for allegedly mocking the country’s elections process.
Kachikwu made this point at a media briefing in Abuja on Wednesday, while calling for Tinubu to drop out of the 2023 presidential race due to his reported ill health.
He said: “I personally think that President Buhari ran for office with good intentions, but unfortunately when his health failed, his government also failed. Today, the same armored personnel carrier A sick president who has disappointed the Nigerian people has presented the Nigerian people with another sick candidate.
“There’s nothing wrong with being old or sick because we’re all going to be old someday. We’re going to get sick at some point too. I do have a problem with embarrassing my country with a candidate with a serious cognitive impairment, And mocked the entire political process.
“Senator Ahmed Bola Tinubu is ineligible to run in this race or to continue in this race. He said it was his turn and I agree: it is his turn to do something honorable and get out of this race. I appeal to his family, his Political parties, APC and President Buhari convinced him to do the right thing.”

Since former Lagos State Governor Tinnubu announced his intention to run for president in 2023, many concerns have been raised about his health.
But that hasn’t stopped him from traveling the country, consulting with leaders at all levels about his presidential ambitions.
While visiting the palace of Ataoja Jimoh Olanipekun in Osogbo, February 2022, tinub revealed his readiness to be president while doing nothing to dispel reports of his health.
“I’m not applying for a job laying bricks or digging graves.
“I went to school to study accounting and management. I am applying for a job with a mind and I will do it right. The job I want to do is make Nigeria great and be proud of myself,” Tinubu said.
