Oliver Maldoni Biography

Who is Oliver Maldoni?

A father-of-three has denied stabbing a man to death over rumours he slept with his girlfriend.

Oliver Muldowney, 35, allegedly stabbed Tim Hipperson, 39, to death after accusing him of sleeping with partner Bobbie Tomkins.

Muldoni asked the victim: “Do you think you can fuck Bobby?” The jury heard before he was repeatedly stabbed in Richmond, south-west London, on May 17, 2021.

Hipson staggered blood on King’s Road and died in hospital three days later.

Muldowney, who was dressed in a white shirt and dark tie, denied the stabbing when the elder Bailey testified.

Defense attorney Giles Cockings asked: “Have you stabbed Tim Hipperson with intent to kill or cause grievous bodily harm because you think he and Bobby slept? “

Muldoni replied, “Not at all.”

Mr Cockings asked: “Have you ever suspected or believed that Tim Hipperson and Bobbie slept?”

Muldoni replied: “I don’t know, no.”

He denied he had become violent over rumours Ms Tomkins was cheating, saying he may have made threats but claimed he was “barking louder than gnashing of teeth”.

Muldoni said he had known Ms Tomkins since he was 16 and initially described their relationship as “fantastic”.

He said she was a good mother and worked at a day care center in Richmond.

But things took a turn for the worse in 2016, when Ms Tomkins got into trouble and started taking drugs, he said.

‘She doesn’t care anymore. She doesn’t care about the kids, she doesn’t care about me, she doesn’t care about anything or anyone. “

The couple have three children, the eldest of which is their co-defendant, 19-year-old Bonnie Eastwood, accused of intimidating witnesses.

Eastwood allegedly called prosecution witness Elaine Doyle and tried to convince her not to testify against her, threatening “serious consequences” if she did.

Maldoni said Eastwood was technically his stepdaughter but they had a “very close” relationship.

Jurors heard Muldoni made money by dealing in Class A drugs, but had never been exposed to them.

He said he found Bobbie’s drug use “appalling” because so many male drug dealers demanded sex in return.

They may ask you for drugs. She may be selling drugs.

Mr Coggins asked: “Do you know if she did that?”

“Probably yes,” Maldoni replied.

When asked how he felt about it, he said: “Very angry. Get out.

“He would get mad at her, he would yell at her, but he would never hurt her or do anything like that to her.”

Mr. Coggins continued: “What about the people she’s slept with?”

“It’s the same thing again,” Maldoni said. “He would get angry, he would yell, maybe he would threaten them, but she would never do anything.

My bark is bigger than my bite.

‘I would never do anything about it.

I can’t beat people around for this.

“If that’s the case, he’s going to hurt a lot of people along the way.”

Muldowney admits Bobbie’s infidelity made him “jealous and angry”.

He also admitted it was “hypocritical” that he was so frustrated with his addiction considering he was a drug dealer.

“I do this to make money for my family and put food on the table.

To make ends meet.

Muldoni allegedly fled with Jonathan Nash, 36, to the nearby home of his partner Natalie Stevens, 38, immediately after Mr Hipson was attacked.

Stevens allegedly helped Muldoni book him a taxi to Brentford.

Muldoni, homeless, denies murder, perversion of justice and witness intimidation, but he pleads guilty to two counts of participating in the supply of a Class A controlled drug.

Nash, of Hounslow, west London, denies obstruction of justice and two counts of supplying a Class A controlled drug.

Stevens of Richmond denies obstruction of justice.

Eastwood, of the Hamptons, denies witness intimidation.

The trial continues.
