The cast of The Today Show wakes up millions of Americans every day — here’s everything you need to know about the morning show host.

The Today Show, officially known as Today, is an American morning television show that airs Mondays from 7 am to 11 am on NBC.

The show premiered on January 14, 1952, and was the first television show of its kind. Seventy-one years after airing at NBC Studios in New York City’s Rockefeller Center, it’s still a staple of everyday life for millions of Americans.

Savannah Guthrie

Savannah Guthrie is the co-anchor of NBC’s News Today. She also serves as chief legal reporter for NBC News. Guthrie first joined TODAY in June 2011 as a third hour co-host.

In her 12 years with the program, she has amassed an impressive portfolio of high-profile interviews, interviewing Donald Trump, Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton and Mark Zuckerberg.

Guthrie has also interviewed Beyoncé, Selena Gomez and Meryl Streep, among others.

Savannah is a close friend of Drew Barrymore, and the two recently shared matching tattoos on Instagram.

Guthrie is also a New York Times bestselling author, a title she co-authored with Alli Oppenheim for her 2017 children’s book, The Princess Wears Pants.

Hoda Kotbu

Hoda Kotb is the co-anchor of NBC’s News Today. She’s also the co-host of Today’s Fourth Hour, alongside Jenna Bush Hager.

Kotb joined NBC News in 1998 as a correspondent for Dateline NBC. Since then, she’s won an Emmy, a Gracie Award, and an Edward Murrow Award.

After living in New Orleans for six years, Kotb covers the aftermath and one-year anniversary of Hurricane Katrina.

Kotb lives in New York City, but graduated from Virginia Tech with a BA in Broadcast Journalism. She welcomed her first daughter, Haley Joy, in February 2017, and her second daughter, Hope Catherine, in April 2019.

Jenna Bush Hager is the co-host of TODAY with Hoda & Jenna. She joined TODAY in August 2009 as a reporter and writer. Jenna is the daughter of former President George W Bush.

Before joining TODAY, she was a reading teacher in a Baltimore public school and began working as an elementary school teacher in Washington, D.C. in 2005. She is currently a contributing editor for Southern Living magazine.

In 2011, Jenna was named one of Glamor Women of the Year along with her mother Laura Bush and sister Barbara Bush.

Craig Melvin

Craig Melvin is the news anchor of The Today Show, co-host of TODAY’s 3rd hour show, anchor of MSNBC Live and host of Dateline NBC. He joined NBC News and MSNBC in July 2011 and has been a cast member of The Today Show since 2018.

Melvin lives in Connecticut with his wife, award-winning sportscaster Lindsay Chaniak, and son Delano and daughter Sybil.

Al Roker is the weather and feature anchor for NBC News’ “Today” and co-anchor of “Today” 3rd Hour. He joined the cast of the Today Show in January 1996.

In November 2014, Roker broke the Guinness World Record for the longest uninterrupted real-time weather report broadcast by providing a 34-hour continuous weather report at what is known as the Rokerthon.

The following year, in October 2015, Rokerthon 2 broke the Guinness World Record for the fastest time to report the weather forecast for all 50 US states, which he accomplished within a week.

In Rokerthon 3 in March 2017, Roker visited five universities across the country in five days to help college students break more Guinness World Records.

Sheinelle Jones is co-anchor of NBC News Today’s 3rd hour show and Today’s midweek reporter.

Jones also hosts TODAY’s digital series “Through Mom’s Eyes,” where she visits celebrity moms to discuss their journeys and get their unique perspectives on raising successful kids.

She also hosts a monthly wellness show on Peacock TV for TODAY’s new streaming platform.

Dylan Dellair

Dylan Dreyer is the 3rd hour co-anchor of The Today Show and serves as a weekday weather reporter and co-anchor for today and evening news with Lester Holt.

Over the years, Dreyer has been on the ground covering some of the worst storms in history, including Hurricane Harvey, Boston’s record snowfall in 2015, and the North American polar vortex in 2014.

Dreyer is a two-time New York Times bestseller with her children’s books “Cloudy: A Friend in Rain or shine” and “Cloudy: A Stormy Day.”
