Stassie Karanikolaou knows how to make a splash on social media.
Who is the content creator Swimwear collection launched in collaboration with Cupshe On Wednesday, she told Page Six Style that her “evolving” aesthetic now includes “a lot of casual streetwear that still has a sexy appeal” — and, of course, plenty of equally striking bikinis.
“When it comes to clothes, I always choose clothes that accentuate my favorite body parts,” says the star, who has 11 million followers (and counting). on instagram.
But while she’s no stranger to striking style statements—whether lounging in a bikini or collaborating with best friend Kylie Jenner—Karanikolaou’s confidence-boosting advice boils down to something beyond fashion discoveries, too.
“It’s not always easy to be confident, no matter your body type,” she says. “Confidence has to come from within most of the time and is definitely linked to mental health and well-being.”

That’s an especially important message during beach season because “trying on a swimsuit isn’t always the easiest thing to do,” she says, adding, “Fortunately, there are so many different swimwear styles and cover-ups to help You feel more confident.”

When it comes time to show off your style on the beach or on Instagram, the content creator has plenty of advice for her (neat and tidy) sleeve also.
“Recently I’ve been taking pictures with an older digital camera, and that changed everything,” he said. “Even if it’s sunny outside, using the flash makes the photo brighter, and I like how the photo itself is different from a normal high-resolution iPhone.”
In addition to turning on her strobe before the flash, Karanikolaou also packs beach essentials, including SPF lip balm and sunscreen.
“I still use tanning oils on my body for a tan, though I know it’s a little frowned upon, especially by my dermatologist!” she jokes.

At least double up on sun protection elsewhere.
“I always wear sunscreen on my face, but I also always wear a hat to keep out the sun so I don’t age prematurely,” says Karanikolaou.

When it comes to basic everyday looks, though, don’t expect to see her try on everything under the sun.
“I think we’re all looking back and shuddering at the few trends we’ve been in … too many to count,” she said.
“It’s like skinny jeans that seem to be coming back.”
