Lagos State Governor Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Wednesday donated 100 million naira to the traders of the Akere Auto Parts and Associated Dealers Association (AMPADA) which was burned in Olodi-Apapa, Ajegunle.

The governor of Sanwo-Olu made the donation while visiting a market that burned down last week, where one person died and several items worth millions of naira were destroyed.

The governor also laid the foundations for a new two-story market building there, saying the efforts were to help alleviate the plight of merchants who lost goods and cash in the fire.
