Why Andrew Wiggins’ Best Friend Rumors Are Fake
According to a TikTok video shared on Twitter Thursday, Wiggins is on vacation after learning his wife, Mychal Johnson, was having an affair with his best friend, Maple Jordan. Additionally, the clip shows that the couple’s two girls are not his biological children.
On one platform alone, the video has garnered 1.2 million views, and the tweet spreading the myth has been viewed by more than 500,000 people.
Nothing in the rumor has been confirmed to be true by anyone involved.
However, these rumors are baseless as he is not yet married. Mychal Johnson is his long-term girlfriend and they have two daughters: Amyah Wiggins and Alayah Milan.
It also claims that their first child, Amyah, was born while they were still in high school, but in reality, she was born on Oct. 11, 2018, while he was a member of the Timberwolves. Additionally, their second child, Alayah Milan, joined the family in April 2021.
In 2013, Mychal and Andrew started dating. They are bonded by a shared passion for basketball. Previously, the mother of two played for Notre Dame.
