Rod Stewart cancels Australian concert due to ‘virus infection’

Rod Stewart has revealed he canceled a concert in Australia with Cindy Lauper and Jon Stevens due to a “viral infection”.

Stewart’s Instagram comments were filled with well wishes from fans around the world.

However, he did not reveal at the time which artist was ill or how the illness would affect their upcoming shows.

“Live Nation and Roundhouse Entertainment regret to announce that Rod Stewart, Cindy Lauper and Jon Stevens will be canceling tonight’s performance at the Dunes Estate in Geelong due to illness,” Stewart wrote in a statement. Official Twitter Page Friday night.

“We sincerely apologize for the disappointment and inconvenience caused to ticket holders,” the statement added.

“Another announcement regarding the tour schedule will be made early next week.”

The Sixth Party reached out to Stewart’s representatives but did not immediately hear back.
