It’s possible! Jennie Garth and Dave Abrams’ marriage is still going strong, despite a bump in the road shortly after they married.
Before marrying Abrams, the actress from Beverly Hills, 90210 had been married twice. Daniel B. and Garth married. Clark filed for divorce in 1994, and the couple separated in 1996. In 2001, she married Peter Facinelli and gave birth to three daughters, Luca Bella (born in 1997), Lola Ray (2002), and Fiona Eve (2006). In 2012, the couple announced their breakup, and a year later, they divorced.
“I learned that forgiveness is possible and that time heals wounds, both of which are difficult to believe when you’re in the middle of it.” But it all works out in the end,” Garth said in an exclusive interview with Us Weekly in 2018 about his divorce. “I believe that, in general, you should concentrate on yourself and what makes you happy and unique. Know what I’m saying? And if you lose sight of that, any relationship you’re in isn’t going to work out as well as it could.”
Garth was introduced to Abrams through a blind date two years after ending her relationship with the Twilight actor. After a few months, the two became engaged.
He exclaimed after their 2015 wedding, “She was drop-dead gorgeous.” “Nothing else mattered once I saw Jennie in her gown.” “I’ve had enough.”
However, Us revealed two years later that the couple would be splitting up. In November 2017, a source told Us, “They love each other, but like any marriage, it takes work.” “Jennie is focusing on herself and her daughters.”
While Abrams filed a lawsuit in April 2018 to end their union, he later withdrew the lawsuit in February of the following year.
“We rushed it a little too much, and we needed to work out some individual issues.” “Perhaps [moving so quickly] was a mistake, and we’ve all had to learn and grow from it,” she said in a rare interview with People about their split in August 2019. “When things weren’t as shiny, pretty, and fun as they had been at first, [Dave] didn’t know how to deal with it as well.”
“We both had separate learning to do,” Garth continued, “and then coming back and sharing that growth was kind of the fiber that connected us back together again like, ‘I see you differently now.’”
