Tottenham striker Richarlison criticized by Premier League pundit Dion Dublin Aodu Sports.
The pundit said he couldn’t actually tell if the Spurs ace was enjoying his football because he “couldn’t see any joy”.
Dublin also said he would be “very frustrated” with Richarlison’s body language if he had been one of his team-mates.
At the same time, he admitted that the Tottenham Hotspur striker has done an “amazing” job in possession.
Richarlison caused a stir last week when he seems to criticize Antonio Conte after the AC Milan game.
He wondered why he was only on the bench for the league’s games against Wolves and against the Rossoneri.
Conte named Richarlison in his starting XI against Nottingham Forest despite controversial comments.
Although he didn’t score, he played well and scored the winning goal for Son Heung-min for Tottenham.
“I just don’t know if he’s enjoying his football, I can’t judge.
“I just don’t know if he’s happy. Never see a smile on his face. I just don’t see any happiness!
“He’s got the best job in the world and he’s playing for a big club.
“If I were a player playing with him, I think I’d be very frustrated with his body language.
“When you look at him, he does some amazing things with the ball, but his attitude worries me.”
Dublin makes sense. Richarlison doesn’t look happy at Tottenham.
Comparing and contrasting with his performance at the World Cup, it shows that there are things that don’t quite work for him in N17.
Sadly, that is the case. Hopefully things will improve for Richarlison between now and the end of the season and beyond.
You also have to wonder if it has anything to do with Tottenham, especially under Conte.
If that’s the case, what happens if the Italian leaves Spurs in the summer?
Speculation about Conte’s future has been going on for some time.
