Priscilla Presley calls Lisa Marie’s death ‘very difficult’

Priscilla Presley has thanked fans and followers for their support during “very difficult times” in the wake of the death of her daughter Lisa Marie Presley.

“Thank you for your condolences, your words touched me very much” Priscilla tweeted later Monday.

“It’s been a really tough time, but just knowing your love is there makes all the difference.”

Lisa Marie was buried in Graceland on Sunday, next to her late son Benjamin Keough, after a star-studded memorial service featuring Alanis Morissette and Sarah · Sarah Ferguson delivered a moving eulogy.

The late singer-songwriter’s daughter, Riley Keough, also asked her husband, Ben Smith-Petersen, to read a letter to her late mother for her.

“I remember as a kid you bathing me, taking me around in the car seat, listening to Aretha Franklin… taking me out for ice cream after school in Florida,” she wrote.

“I remember you singing lullabies to me and my brother at night, and lying with us until we fell asleep,” she continued, referring to Benjamin.
