The PFL Challenger Series wraps up its 2023 campaign with four “second chances” matches in Orlando, Florida, on Friday night.
Eight boxers in four weight classes are fighting for their last chance to make the big leagues this year, given the league’s regular-season spots. Among the contenders, women’s featherweight Jackie Cataline entered her fourth fight in the promotion with a 2-1 record. She fell short of the coveted contract despite a win earlier in the year, but has another chance at the returning Evelyn Martins.
In the night’s featured fight, Kendry St.Louis returned, and what was supposed to be a featherweight fight turned heavyweight when “Highlander” came out heavily at Thursday’s weigh-in. He is paired with Paulo “Lea” Enrique, who dropped his split decision to Manoel Sousa earlier this year.
