Week 6 of the 2023 PFL Challenger Series kicks off Friday night in Orlando, Florida, a day after all fighters managed to put weight on the card.

Here’s the lightweight in the Contenders this week, with a regular-season spot in the PFL. Topping the four-fight card is undefeated Mexican standout Brahyan Zurcher, who won the Contenders a year ago but was out of contract that night.

Given his inexperience, even Zurcher wasn’t surprised by the turn of events. But after winning his second professional fighting league fight this summer (a qualifier for this year’s Contenders), Zurcher is back to take on his most experienced opponent, David Evans.

Ireland’s Nathan Kelly, a Bellator MMA alumnus who made his PFL debut last year, will also compete on Friday night. He anchored the United headlines against Zach Hicks. Kelly entered with a six-game winning streak.

The full results of Thursday’s weigh-in can be found below.
