Panic At The Disco Disband After 20 Years As Brendon Urie Issues Statement

panic! At The Disco was disbanded after 20 years by frontman Brendon Urie. The singer-songwriter released a lengthy statement on Instagram today.

“Well, it’s been a hell of a ride…” he wrote. “Growing up in Vegas, I never thought about where I would go. So many places around the world, and all the friends we made along the way.

“But sometimes a journey has to end before a new one can begin. We’ve been trying to keep it a secret, even though some of you may have heard…Sarah and I are having a baby soon! Be a Dad and Watch Me The prospect of my wife becoming a mother is both humbling and exciting. I look forward to my next adventure.”

He added: “That being said, I will close this chapter of my life and focus my attention and energy on my family, with the panic! At The Disco will cease to exist. Thank you all over the years Great support. I’m sitting here trying to think of the perfect way to say this, but I really can’t put into words what it means to us.

“Whether you’ve been here since the beginning or have just found us, it’s a pleasure not only to share the stage with so many talented people, but also to share our time with you. I look forward to seeing everyone in Europe and the UK at the end Run together.” Uri added: “I love you. I appreciate you. Thank you for being there.

“Brendon.” The group was originally a pop-rock band from Las Vegas, Nevada, formed in 2004 by childhood friends Urie, Ryan Ross, Spencer Smith and Brent Wilson. They recorded their first demo in high school.
