Patrick’s Day 2023, you could be one of the lucky shoppers to score a free green donut at the Krispy Kreme, but only on one condition.
Several food chains and restaurants are giving away freebies on St. Patrick’s Day to mark the great saint’s arrival in Ireland while also celebrating Irish culture.
Krispy Kreme previously launched Valentine’s Day heart-shaped donuts, and this latest National Day has even more delicious desserts.
In addition to the free green O’riginal Glazed Donut, the coffee chain is also introducing four special flavors. Here’s everything we know about the holiday deals.
Get a Free Green Donut at Krispy Kreme for St. Patrick’s Day 2023
On March 16-17, all participating Krispy Kreme locations will be giving each customer a free donut.
However, to get free green O’riginal Glazed Donuts made just for St. Patrick’s Day, you have to show up at the store wearing green.
This offer is only available in stores and drive-thru in the US and Canada. It also allows staff to see if you are actually wearing the traditional St. Patrick’s Day colors.
Also, you can buy green donuts in packs of 12. They are limited to two days only.
New flavors launched for the holidays
Krispy Kreme has launched four new flavors for the St. Patrick’s Day holiday.
- Golden Cookies and Kreme Donuts – a filled donut shell dipped in white icing and topped with golden cookie pieces and golden mixture.
- Hat O’ Gold Donuts – This chocolate iced donut is decorated with a green icing pattern and topped with leprechaun hat pieces.
- Golden Sprinkles Donuts – O’riginal Glazed Donuts covered in green icing and topped with a golden St. Patrick’s Day sprinkle mix.
- Rainbow Cream Donuts – The unglazed crust is filled with Kreme with a green icing. It is decorated with skittles, vanilla buttercream, and gold coin sprinkles.
