Tributes have poured in for North Carolina mud rider Robert Parker, whose sudden death following an ATV accident shocked the racing world and his fans.
The 38-year-old is survived by a wife and three children. He was pronounced dead when he was transferred to a trauma center following the tragic incident, according to reports.
Known for his love of the ATV sports world, Robert also helped organize Team Momentum Racing.
Robert Parker dies in ATV accident
Robert was reportedly involved in an accident involving an ATV while driving a quad on Turlington Road in Harnett County on Wednesday afternoon, March 15, and is believed to have run over him.
daily record Reportthe Harnett County Communications Center received a 911 call at around 4:44 p.m. for emergency medical services and fire departments after the ATV crash, and they were unsure if the only victim was alive at the time.
He was seriously injured when the vehicle rolled over on top of him and a medical helicopter was used to transfer Robert to a hospital in Dunn due to the impact.
However, he reportedly died before boarding a flight to a trauma center.

Robert’s wife, Kathy, released a statement expressing her condolences for her husband’s sudden loss following the tragic accident.
“Today I lost my best friend and my children’s best dad! Please pray for me, our children, our family and our friends as we face this impossible task of saying goodbye.”
He is survived by three children – 18-year-old daughter Carleigh, 13-year-old son Nathan and 10-year-old daughter Sawyer.
Robert’s brother-in-law said the late dirt track racer was a devout Christian who inspired young people in the sport by mentoring and organizing Team Momentum Racing.

Robert’s love of ATV sports and his impeccable skills have attracted thousands of followers to his Instagram account. His sudden death came as a shock to fans as it left a huge void in the sporting world.
One shared: “Still can’t believe you’re gone. Ride in heaven man.”
“When I first heard the news, I didn’t want to believe it. Sit back and relax saga,” added another.
“We will miss you. RIP. Show them how to ride there,” another fan wrote.
Robert’s family has not released details about his funeral. They are serviced by Rose & Graham Funeral Home.
