Marla Wilson as Susan Walker
Mara Wilson plays Susan, a six-year-old girl who is suspicious of Kris Kringle. Mara was a huge child actor at the time. She first came to prominence just a year ago as Natalie Hillard in “Mrs. Doubt.”
After starring in the Christmas classic, she landed the titular role in the 1996 film adaptation of Roald Dahl’s Matilda.
Following “Miracle on 34th Street,” Wilson took a 12-year hiatus from acting. However, she returned to the spotlight in 2015 starring in Joe Kowalski’s comedy Billy Bob Joe. The 35-year-old actress most recently appeared on TV’s “BoJack Horseman” and published a book about the life of a child actor in 2016, titled “Where Am I Now?” The true story of girlhood and unexpected fame.

Richard Attenborough as Kris Kringle
David Attenborough’s brother Richard plays the beloved Kris Kringle. His character helps spread the magic of Christmas, especially for the Walkers, who find renewed hope during the holidays.
After the film, Attenborough appeared in a string of films, most notably his role as John Hammond in the Jurassic Park franchise.
He went on to become chairman for life of Chelsea Football Club, a supporter of the club for seven decades. He also served for three decades as Head of the drama school he attended, the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, and as Head of the British Academy of Film and Television Arts.
In 2013, he was confined to a wheelchair after suffering a stroke five years earlier and moved into a nursing home. Attenborough has never fully recovered from the stroke, which left him unconscious for several days.Sadly, with his health failing, Attenborough died 90 years old in 2014. He died five days before his 91st birthday.

James Remer stars in Miracle On 34th Street as Jack Duff, a Shopper Express executive who conspires with Victor Landberg.
After Christmas Spectacular, he went on to play ghost father Harry Morgan in Dexter. He also had a supporting role in Quentin Tarantino’s film Django Unchained.

Elizabeth Perkins as Dorey Walker
Perkins plays Dolly Walker, Susan’s single mother who struggles to get into the Christmas spirit. However, with Susan’s help, she begins to feel the magic in the air.
The same year that the Christmas classics came out, Perkins played Wilma in The Flintstones. In fact, 1994 was a big year for Perkins, as she starred alongside Demi Moore in her feature film debut, About Last Night. She also starred opposite Tom Hanks in Big.
Today, Perkins is best known for his roles as Celia Hodes on Weeds or as the star of the ABC sitcom How to Live With Your Parents (The Rest of Your Life). She also appeared in the 2016 reboot of Ghostbusters and HBO’s 2018 series Sharp Objects.
Dylan McDermott as Bryan Bedford
Dylan McDermott stars as Brian Bedford, Dore’s boyfriend and neighbor. His character supports the girls through the difficult festive season.
Following the Christmas movie, the actor went on to play Ben Harmon in the first season of American Horror Story. He is also known for playing Bobby Donnell on The Practice. Others may recognize him from “Olympus Has Fallen” and “Privilege as a Wallflower,” and he plays Theo Sloan on Netflix’s “The Politician.”
Interestingly, McDermott changed his name from Mark to Dylan in honor of his miscarried former stepmother Eve Ensler.She would name her baby Dylan, so McDermott and Ensler were so close that he changed the name, according to movie database.
Jane Reeves as Alberta Leonard
Jane Reeves played Alberta Leonard in Miracle on 34th Street, another Kohl’s employee who certainly had a hard time getting into the Christmas spirit.
While filming the holiday film, she also played her iconic Daphne role in Frasier.
Following Miracle on 34th Street, the British-born actor went on to star in the TV sitcom Hot In Cleveland. Leeves is married to CBS Paramount Television executive Marshall Coben and they have two children.
Leeves’ Frasier co-star and best friend Peri Gilpin was actually in the delivery room when her first child was born, according to abc.
Jennifer Morrison as Dennis
Jennifer Morrison played Denise the Elf in Miracle on 34th Street, which happened to be one of her first ever roles. After making this film, Morrison went on to become a successful Hollywood actress. She is now best known for her role as Emma Swan on ABC’s “Once Upon a Time” and for her roles on “House M.D.” and “Star Trek.”
Morrison and Sebastian Stan began dating after meeting on the set of Once Upon a Time in the summer of 2012. However, they announced their split a year later and she then started dating Gerardo Velasco in 2019.
On March 14, 2022, they can be seen donning their wedding rings at the premiere of Swim with Sharks. Morrison, April 8, 2022 comfirmed they got married.
