Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino and his wife Lauren welcome their second child
Jersey Shore: Family Vacation star Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino’s wife, Lauren Sorrentino, has given birth to their second child.
The couple’s daughter was born Tuesday morning weighing 5 pounds 15 ounces, Page Six can confirm.
“We are so excited to announce the birth of our adorable baby girl, Mia Bella Elizabeth Sorrentino,” Mike and Lauren said in a statement through their representatives Wednesday.
“We thank everyone for their well wishes and are excited to begin a new chapter as a family of four.”
Lauren, 38, showed off her pregnant belly for the first time in a July 2022 Instagram post, captioned “We’re pregnant!”
Mike, 40, wrote in his own post: “We have an amazing announcement!! We are one big growing family! Baby on the way
The reality star shared the January due date for baby No. 2, summing it up: ‘God is good.’
The Sorrentinos introduced their one-year-old son, Romeo Reign, in material uploaded to social media.
The baby was born in May 2021, and the couple revealed their pregnancy six months later in a Christmas cookie-themed photo.
Mike and Lauren married in November 2018 and started a family the following September immediately after the MTV veteran served his sentence for tax evasion.
While the couple became pregnant the night of Mike’s release, Lauren subsequently suffered a miscarriage.

“When I found out we were pregnant, I felt like that’s why we’ve been through all these challenges over the years, it’s our time and our blessing,” she said at the time. “I don’t want to hide it…so I can somehow heal myself [sharing my story]”.
