Michael Hanley Car Accident: 39-Year-Old Elsie Man Identified as Victim dies in M-21 crash in Ovid Township

According to an OVID TOWNSHIP, Mich., report, the Clinton County Sheriff’s Office identified the man who died in a crash on M-21 on Friday.

According to the police, James Rust, 40, of Owosso, was operating a semi-truck and trailer when he collided with Michael Hanley, 39, of Elsie who was traveling east on M-21. For several hours, the highways were stopped while investigators looked into the collision. Just before 5:30 p.m., the area was once again available to regular traffic.

Hanley passed away at the scene from his wounds.

According to police, the collision is still being looked into.
