Mass Shooting In Florida Sees Nine Gunned Down In Lakeland: Police

Police are investigating a mass shooting that left nine people dead in Lakeland, Fla., on Monday afternoon.

lakeland Policemen department release a statement in its Twitter Police responded to reports of the shooting around 3:43 p.m. local time on Monday, it said. Police said a total of nine people were injured, two of the victims in serious condition.

Lakeland police will provide an update on the shooting at a media briefing at 7 p.m. ET, according to the announcement.
