Martina Navratilova’s cancer ‘holds up’ adoption plans, wife says
Housewives of Miami star Julia Lemigova reveals her wife tennis legend Martina Navratilova has ‘stopped’ the couple after her cancer diagnosis adoption plan.
During part two of Thursday’s Bravo reality show, the 50-year-old said the adoption has been delayed because her wife is undergoing medical treatment Stage I throat and breast cancer.
“When you adopt a child, it has to be about a child,” Lemigova told host Andy Cohen.
“Right now it’s all about Martina and her recovery. We hold it.
When asked how far they had come in the adoption process, Remigova said they were very close.
“We thought the agency would call us with the happy news that we had a baby,” she explained.

“Instead, we’re battling two cancers,” she continued, adding: “One isn’t enough. I’m just waiting for Martina to recover.
The former Russian model said it was “emotional” to watch his wife, whom she married in 2014, undergo therapy.
“Even the sad moments don’t seem to matter,” Remigova said after watching clips from the season.

Navratilova announced her two cancer diagnoses in January, telling fans that both were caught at an early stage.
“It’s a double whammy, but it’s still workable and I want to be successful,” Tennis Hall of Famer In a statement to the Women’s Tennis Association, he said”It’s going to stink for a while, but I’m going to give it my all.”
The tennis star suffered from breast cancer in 2010 but was declared cancer-free after a lumpectomy and six months of radiation therapy.


The Czech-born star was one of the most dominant players of the 1970s and 1980s, winning 18 Grand Slam singles titles.
He has long competed with American Chris Evert, who recently declares she is cancer free being being diagnosed with ovarian cancer November 2021
Navratilova has won a total of 59 Grand Slam titles, including 31 in women’s doubles and 10 in mixed doubles.
She originally retired in 1994 after winning a record 167 singles titles and 331 weeks at the WTA No. 1, but returned to the game several times in the 2000s.
Navratilova was inducted into the International Tennis Hall of Fame in 2000 and has worked as a television pundit in recent years.
