Liverpool linked with Napoli midfielder Stanislav Lobotka

The Italian news outlet claims Liverpool are prepared to pay Italian club Napoli as much as €50m (£44m) for Lobotka.

The report suggests that such an offer may be difficult for Napoli, currently top of the Serie A table, to refuse.

Will summer transfers happen?

In our opinion, Liverpool are unlikely to sign Stanislav Lobotka from Napoli in the summer transfer window.

Well, we know Liverpool is a huge club with huge appeal.

Napoli, however, are on the move.

And Naples has also advanced to the quarter-finals of the Champions League.

We don’t see Lobotka – described by England manager Fabio Capello as “the most complete (midfielder) player in Serie A” il martino – leaving Napoli at the end of the season.

Napoli themselves are unlikely to sell any of their best players, unless of course they get a big offer.
