Kanye West not charged after throwing a woman’s phone in the street
Kanye West will reportedly not be charged for throwing a woman’s phone in the street.
According to a statement from the Ventura District Attorney’s Office, Got it Wednesday by TMZThe woman’s phone was slightly damaged during the January incident.
In fact, the toss is said to have only affected the casing around its device, which sells for $30.
Additionally, the source said the woman declined to press charges against West.
His attorney did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
The 45-year-old rapper-turned-designer is at the center of the battery investigation, TMZ reported.

In a video of the confrontation that went viral, West noticed himself leaving his daughter North’s basketball game when he was photographed.
While it’s unclear if the woman was a paparazzi or a fan, West got out of the car and approached her as she was filming him in his car.
“You can’t run up to me like that,” West said to the woman who held the phone up in front of him. “Stop using the camera!”

When the woman tried to argue that she could film him because of his “celebrity” status, the Grammy winner reached into her car, grabbed the phone and threw it into the air.
As he left, he was seen confronting another photographer, but it’s unclear what he said that made the man flinch.
In another part of the clip, the Yeezy founder is back in his car and drives to meet a group of popes, who are documenting the entire debacle on video.

“Do you want me to run around like this and play your kid’s game?” he asked one of the men, who was trying to defend himself, and he said, “There are 100 of us.”

“Everyone has to stop when I see my kids,” the father of four continued. “If I want to see my children, you can’t take pictures of me. It’s called human rights.”

When the photographer argued that they were allowed to take pictures because they were on a public street, West glanced down at him before talking to his “wife” Bianca Censori in the passenger seat drove away.
Just two weeks ago, West married a Yeezy employee in an illicit ceremony.
