marquez later Confirm booking On social media, Winn also mentioned the fight, posting on his Instagram Story that it was “definitely going to happen at some point.”

Winn’s most recent appearance was in a loss against Phil Hawes in a match that is perhaps most memorable for what happened after the game. With Winn’s suspension through TKO in the second round, Hawes got into a spat with UFC broadcaster and Winn’s teammate, former champion Daniel Cormier. Fortunately, cooler heads prevailed.

Overall, Winn is 2-3 inside the Octagon, beating Antonio Arroyo and Eric Spicely.

Marquez also lost his final fight against Gregory “Robocop” Rodrigues. That loss broke a two-game winning streak for the Cuban Missile Crisis, which submitted Maki Pitolo and Sam Alvey in 2021.

In 2019 and 2020, Marquez failed to get into the cage, and he went missing nearly two years after tearing his lats — an injury that required multiple surgeries.

Aside from Julian Marquez and Deron Winn, no other fights have been reported for the UFC’s Dec. 17 fight. The card has no venue, location or broadcast schedule.
