Journalist – Spurs want ‘one of the best’ players ‘in the world’; his club’s in trouble

One position that Tottenham may need to strengthen in the summer is the goalkeeper.

Spurs currently have the iconic Hugo Lloris between the sticks.

However, the French star’s contract with Tottenham will expire at the end of next season.

One player who has been linked with Tottenham in recent months is Everton and England ace Jordan Pickford.

His heroics in England over the years arguably put him in the same league as Gordon Banks and Peter Hilton.

Pickford helped the Three Lions reach the Euro 2020 final and the 2018 World Cup semi-final.
