The People’s Democratic Party (PDp) continues to face infighting ahead of the Lagos state gubernatorial election as its candidate, Abdel-Aziz Adilan (Jandor), has revealed some alarming news.
Adediran made the claims in an interview with AriseTV on Wednesday, which was monitored by Ripples Nigeria.
In an interview in September 2022, PDP chief Pod George revealed that Addilan had violated an agreement on choosing a running mate.
this plasma display The chief said Addilan ignored the deal to make Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour his running mate – not Funke Akindele.
He said Addilan’s decision to choose actress Akindle as his running mate forced Roz-Wiver to join the Labor Party as the standard-bearer in the Lagos gubernatorial election.
However, Jandor accused George of patristicism in an interview on Wednesday, while citing this as the reason for his departure from the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC).
He further pointed out that some PDP veterans, including Chief Bucknor Akerele, have been undermining the party while pledging support for Labour’s Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour.
“I was able to get tickets without the support of the godfather, then Bode George sold me Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, which I declined because I left the APC because of the godfather; I cannot tolerate this situation in the PDP.

“That’s why he’s been singing about Rod Weaver, talking about assassinating his life.
“What happened in Lagos was that I was fighting without any godfather. Chief Bod George always sabotages the efforts of the PDP candidates every election cycle,” Jandor noted.
On a coalition with Rhodes-Vivour, he explained that the unresolved cases plaguing Labor had ruled that out.
He said: “I told Peter Obi that I had no problem with forming an alliance, but I told them we needed to get our hands dirty. Analyze us. Rhodes-Vivour has a Supreme Court case that could go against us and we can’t because of those cases. Take part in this election.
“if border george Mama Bakno means well, they will secure an alliance with the PDP against the APC – they have been undermining the party. “
