Jamie Carragher tells Tottenham to get rid of Antonio Conte

Jamie Carragher wrote Twitter Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy should have sacked Antonio Conte as manager tonight.

The former Liverpool defender believes Conte now wants to be sacked by Tottenham.

The Sky Sports pundit made the comments in response to comments made by the Italy boss about his Tottenham players and the Tottenham club.

Conte was unhappy with his Tottenham side’s failure to win against Southampton in the Premier League at St Mary’s Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

In his post-match press conference, the ex-Chelsea and Inter Milan boss went into a rage, criticizing his players and Spurs for not winning any major games in years.

Jamie Carragher on Tottenham manager Antonio Conte

What should the Spurs do?

Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy needs to speak to manager Antonio Conte, in our opinion.

Now.

We don’t think Tottenham should have sacked Conte without a round of talks.

We know the Italian is a very emotional manager and we can’t forget that he went on a rant after his Tottenham players failed to win against Southampton, who could be relegated to the Championship at the end of the season.

Emotions, therefore, are understandably high.

However, maybe tomorrow or Monday, Levy needs to sit down with Conte.

Then decide.
