If you’re hoping that Bravo superfan Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi will one day join the cast of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, don’t hold your breath.
Andy Cohen explains why we may never see the ‘Jersey Shore’ queen holding a diamond as she settles their so-called ‘dispute’ on Monday’s episode SiriusXM’s “Andy Cohen Live” radio show.
The couple’s “public war” began last year, when Cohen said he wouldn’t be playing Snooki on “RHONJ.”
“You were being sarcastic, so I had to come back,” she explained.
“I said, ‘I don’t see it.’ Ordinary. I thought, ‘I don’t see it at all.’ “Always,” Cohen said of Snookie joining the team. “Here’s why I say this: I think you’re one of the faces of MTV and the face of ‘Jersey Shore.'”
“To me, it’s like putting Mickey Mouse in a Bugs Bunny cartoon,” he added. “It’s so different. You know what I mean?”
The reality star said she was “not angry” with Cohen’s statement, but added that it was his tone that confused her.
“I just don’t like your kids, ‘No, I’m fine,'” she added, to which Cohen replied, “That’s where I went too far.”
The couple then put the beef aside and Cohen confirmed they were “no longer at war.”
Snooki previously told Page Six that she doesn’t think she can “hang out” with any “housewives” because she “hates drama.”
“I was terrified because some of these girls… fell in,” she told us EXCLUSIVELY. “Even though I’m on reality TV, I hate drama. I like the positive attitude, I like to have fun and go home. I just thought it was going to be crazy.
Polizzi made her reality TV debut in 2009 with the original “Jersey Shore.”
In September 2020, rumors surfaced that Bravo had spotted the MTV show as a potential “Real Housewives” from New Jersey.
However, Snooki immediately denied these rumors, write on instagram”I don’t know how it all started, but I wasn’t asked to be a housewife. Okay.
