Arsenal transfer target Michael Olis “doesn’t work” at struggling Crystal Palace in the Premier League, says Ian Wright.
The Arsenal legend added that Patrick Vieira’s Palace lost Conor Gallagher “a lot” after returning to his parent Chelsea in the summer.
It’s a bit of a mystery at Palace, they have some great attacking options to choose from, but they can’t score goals for love or money.
Throughout the season, Olisse himself scored 2 goals and assisted 5 times in 25 Premier League games.
Considering he only turns 21 in December, you’d doubt the versatile striker would improve and Arsenal are keeping an eye on the player.
But as Ian Wright mentioned, things didn’t go well for Palace as he mentioned Conor Gallagher and Michael Olise among othersas he told Premier League Productions.
“Conor Gallagher was a huge miss as far as the loan goes, they tried to pull it off and they couldn’t afford it,” Wright said. “He’s like two Crystal Palace players.
“They tried Michael Olis and it didn’t work out very well for him – they tried to compensate Conor Gallagher with different players but they couldn’t replicate what he did because he was so great for them. A very good player.”
OLISE is still a top talent
Given Olise’s age, there will be ups and downs in his career, and so far, his confidence is on the field.
As a composed player and top-notch technical talent, it will be interesting to see how far he goes in his career and which country he represents.
Olis was born in London and has the chance to represent England if he wants to. However, in his career so far, he has represented France at a young age.
