President Muhammadu Buhari has declared that he has done everything in his power to serve Nigeria and Nigerians.
The President also announced that he did not disappoint anyone by speaking during a courtesy call on His Highness (Dr.) Rilwanu Suleiman Adamu, Emir of Bauchi.
President Buhari continued the All Progressive Congress (APC) presidential and governor’s campaign rallies in Bauchi.
The President thanked the Nigerians for their hospitality and continued love, noting that the large crowds that welcomed him wherever he went showed genuine love and loyalty.
According to him, “I usually visit emirs and sheikhs, whether on political or personal visits to the country, to express my gratitude.”
The President added: “I would like to mention that between 2003 and 2011 I visited all the local governments and in 2019 when I was seeking re-election I visited all the federal states and the people turned out to see that I am better than anyone. buy or force more.”
He added, “There, I made a commitment that I would do my best to serve Nigeria and Nigerians and I have not let anyone down so far.”
Earlier, in his welcome speech, the Emir Bauchi said that it was a pleasure for political leaders in the modern state system to pay a courtesy visit to traditional institutions.
It is a practical display of love and respect for traditional institutions, the emir noted.
He thanked President Buhari for the landmark development that his government had brought to Bauchi and declared that the Kolmani complex remains a legacy that Bauchi and even the North East region is still grateful for.
According to the Emir, “We are very grateful to you and we follow the example of our Governors to express our utmost gratitude. We are also pleased that you have kept your promise to improve the country through continuous and progressive reforms and ensuring the independence of electoral bodies. Reform the electoral process, our son Professor Mahmood Yakubu is the current chairperson.”
Rilvanu Adam also said, “Your determination in this and other areas of governance is an inspiration to all thinking people across the country.”
Afterwards, the President continued his APC presidential and governor’s campaign by heading to the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium, where a large crowd awaited him and his entourage.
He then introduced the party’s presidential standard-bearer, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and his deputy, Senator Kashim Shettima, to voters in the presence of Senate President and House Speaker Dr Ahmed Rawan.
