As per the report or sources, Carmen Ramirez passed away on 12 August 2022, Friday. She passed away due to being hit by a pickup truck in Oxnard. As per the Oxnard police, the crash occurred around 6:40 in the vicinity of Seventh and A streets. A driver of the truck remained on the site and is helping the authorities. paramedics took her to Ventura County Medical Center where she has been enunciated dead at 7:17 PM. The Oxnard Police Department admitted the crash late Friday. It took place at the crossroads of West 7th Street and South A Street around 6:40 p.m.

Investigators found that a pedestrian, later determined as 73 years old Ramires, was stuck by a 2020 GMC Sierra 2500 being used by a 38-year-old Oxnard citizen while crossing the street in the crosswalk. Ramirez was allegedly rushed to the hospital, where doctors declared him dead. As per the police, The driver remained on site and helped with the right investigation. He was not determined by the administration on Friday night. It is very sad and shocking news for her family, and friends because they lost their, beloved member.

As far as we know Ramirez was 73 years old and she previously served on the Ventura County Board of Supervisors, where she was chairperson this year, and the Oxnard City Council. She followed up on that achievement this year by becoming the first Latina to be selected as the powerful board’s chairwoman by her fellow member.
