Gwyneth Paltrow defends her health secret she calls the ‘starvation diet’
Gwyneth Paltrow blames “very bad inflammation” and prolonged COVID for her health secrets, which have since been dubbed “the starvation diet.”
“I’ve been trying to really focus on foods that don’t cause inflammation, [and] It worked out really well,” the actress said on her Instagram Story on Friday.
“This is based on my medical results and extensive testing that I have done over a long period of time,” the 50-year-old added, noting that her daily diet “is not meant to be a recommendation for other people.”
Paltrow makes headlines this week after detailing her intermittent fasting, bone broth dinners and Paleo dinners The Art of Wellness Podcasting.He said her habit was “very intense and positive for her”.
The Oscar winner explained that she doesn’t eat these regular foods “all day, every day.”
Claiming to “eat a lot more than bone broth and veggies,” Paltrow said, “I’m full. I also have days where I can eat whatever I want, chips or whatever.
“My benchmark is to try to eat healthy and try to eat foods that really calm the system,” the “Shakespeare in Love” star continues.
Paltrow’s social media Q&A came after the Emmy winner was blasted by Tess Holiday, Meghan McCain and other celebs.
