Former head of state General Yakubu Gowon; Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo and wife Dorapo; Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and other dignitaries attended on Friday, the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren of Judge Joseph Adetunji Adefarasin to say goodbye to their matriarch, Mrs. Hilda Adefarasin.
Her two children, Rev. Wale Adefarasin, general overseer of Guiding Light Assembly, and Rev. Paul Adefarasin, founder and lead pastor of House on the Rock Church, attended the funeral Friday at Guiding Light, along with their other siblings and other family members. , Light Assembly at Parkview Estate, Ikoyi District, Lagos State.

Clergy from different denominations including Bishop Oyedepo; Pastor Tunde Bakare; Itua Iguodalo; Pastor Victor Adeyemi; Together with the children of Justice Adelfarasin’s wife, they paid their last respects to the woman who died on February 5, 2023 at the age of 98.
On behalf of the family, Pastor Paul Adelfrahim thanked everyone for the overwhelming love and support that had been extended to the Adelfrahim family as they rest in peace, adding: “The memory of the righteous is a true blessing.”
