The Rev. Tom Takpatore, acting senior pastor, pledged to journalists after the White Gown Sunday service to mark the annual early 21 days of prayer and fasting.

“We wear white uniforms just to say together, let’s thank God, let’s pour out our hearts to the Lord, let’s trust God to intervene in our lives, in the affairs of our families, in the affairs of our country, Nigeria, especially in the Elections are coming.

“We take the time to pray and trust in God, God will give us peace, God will give us direction, God will give us guidance, God will give Nigeria progress,” he said.

The pastor read aloud from Psalm 46, asking the church members to work hard, pray and wait for God to fulfill their wishes and petitions.
