Nigerians will go to the polls again today to elect the governors of 28 of the federation’s 36 states. They will also vote for their representatives in the House of Representatives from all 36 states.

Governor elections will not be held in six states namely Ekiti, Ondo, Osun, Bayelsa, Edo, anambraImo and Kogi states, as polls for governor’s offices in these states are off-cycle and not part of general elections.

Today’s election comes two weeks after presidential and national assembly elections on February 28 that produced former Lagos state governor Bola Ahmed Tinubu as president.
