Adamawa’s official governor, Senator Muhammad Bindow, has ditched the All Progressive Congress (APC) party.
Bindow formally resigned on January 20, 2023 by writing to the APC Chairman of Adamawa State, Mubi North Local Government in his constituency.

However, he did not mention his next political party. He said his supporters across the state would leave the APC with him to create a harmonious Adamawa.
According to Bindow, he withdrew from the APC due to a lack of genuine reconciliation among party stakeholders.
