Eryk Anders Is Looking For An Ugly Fight Against Daukaus

ORLANDO, Fla. – UFC middleweight Eryk Anders needs a win when he comes to UFC Orlando against Kyle Daukaus after two straight losses. He hoped to right the ship Saturday night.

Anders (14-7) faces Dawkos, who has previously said Anders will be looking for a fight because it benefits his fighting style.

“I don’t think he’s wrong, you know? That’s the kind of fighter I am. I’ve got to make it ugly, I’ve got to make it dirty. Especially after my last fight. I can’t let it go to Judge, you know what I mean,” Anders told the media on Wednesday.

“I definitely want to try and get in there, get him out, get paid, go downtown and see what Orlando is talking about.”

Rivalries aside, Anders knows he has to continue to grow as a fighter, especially with all the new talent already well rounded.

“I think as a fighter you need to keep evolving, but like your core, you know what I mean? When it gets tough out there, when it gets tough, we know what’s going to come out of Eryk,” He says.

“Deep down, I want it to look pretty, and I want it to look pretty, but it’s not. So I have to go in, make it ugly, and fight my way.”
