Drew Barrymore jokingly applauds Hugh Grant after he denigrates her ‘creepy’ voice
The talk show host posted a video dedicated to the British actor, in which she sang “Back to Love,” a duet from their 2007 film “Music and Lyrics.”
“Oh, Hubert, Hubert, this is for you,” Barrymore said after singing a few lines.
“#SingForHughGrant join me,” she said – He wrote a post on Instagram Thursday.
The “Notting Hill” star made headlines on Monday when he accused the actress of being unable to sing while filming their romantic comedy.
“Drew Barrymore was in the movie with me, and I don’t think she would mind if I said her singing was terrible,” he said. he told Wired”I hear dogs barking better than she sings.”
In an interview later, Grant, 62, praised Barrymore, 48, saying the “Never Been Kissed” star “sounded a lot better than me when they “tuned her up” because she had heart, voice and rock ‘n’ roll.”
The “Love Actually” star’s comments came hours after he faced backlash for his “rude” behavior towards Ashley Graham on the 2023 Oscars red carpet.

TMZ asked Graham, 35, on Monday if she was offended by Grant’s behavior during the interview, to which she replied: “You know what, my mom told me to kill in good faith, so here you go.”
The model didn’t go any further, but insisted she had “a lot of fun” interviewing other ABC stars on behalf of ABC.
While Grant was beaten for his actions, the women of The View also came under fire for not asking him questions about the viral interview when he appeared on Thursday’s show.
“No one asks about invertebrates for Oscars red carpet interviews,” one critic tweeted.
