Djed Spence is set to sign a permanent deal with Nottingham Forest, sparking a hilarious feud with former manager Neil Warnock.

After winning promotion, NOTTINGHAM FOREST will attempt to make Djed Spence’s loan permanent.

However, they will face competition from Tottenham Hotspur, who are also considering a move for the Middlesbrough wonderkid.

Forest beat Huddersfield 1-0 in the Championship play-off final at Wembley on Sunday to end their 23-year absence from the Premier League.

Since being farmed out by Boro at the start of the season, Spence, 21, has been an integral part of the Tricky Trees’ success.

He made 46 appearances for Forest in all competitions, and he was particularly impressive in FA Cup wins over Arsenal and Leicester.

Forest manager Steve Cooper would like to keep the right winger on a permanent basis, but there is no provision in the loan agreement to do so.

That would entail negotiating a fee with Boro, who received hefty fees as part of the loan agreement in exchange for Forest making the play-offs and gaining promotion.

Boro are reportedly seeking around £20 million in addition to add-ons.

Spurs hаve long аdmired Spence, аnd he would fit in well with Antonio Conte’s 3-4-3 formаtion.

However, SunSport understаnds thаt the North Londoners аnd Boro hаve yet to mаke contаct regаrding а deаl.
