Jamie Carragher on Liverpool, Newcastle and Tottenham
Carragher said: “What I would say about Liverpool and Tottenham is that both clubs are in a bit of turmoil for different reasons.
“With Tottenham, it’s the manager. At Liverpool at the moment we’re talking about players coming in the summer. Sometimes there are performances you don’t quite believe. You don’t get that at Newcastle.”
Intense race for top four
In our opinion, the battle for the top four in the Premier League this season will be very exciting.
With Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle all up for grabs, you can’t say with certainty that United will end up in the Champions League.
Brighton and Hove Albion, Fulham and Brentford could also hope to battle for a top-four finish in the closing stages.
This will be fascinating.
