President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday signed 16 legal bills on constitutional amendments, paving the way for the state judiciaries in state assemblies to now have constitutionally guaranteed financial independence.
Tolu Ogunlesi, special assistant to the president for digital and new media, announced the development on his Twitter.
Right In: The President @MBuhari Sixteen constitutional amendments have been signed into law. With this signing, the state legislature and judiciary now have constitutionally guaranteed financial independence, while the railways have moved from an exclusive legislative list to a parallel list.
