Several bystanders have reportedly witnessed unexplained bright lights in the skies over rural Wisconsin – leading some to question whether the lights were UFOs.

Kimberly, one of those who filmed the video, told Daily Mail Australia she was driving home with her husband in West Bend at around 10.45pm on December 1 when “all of a sudden, We saw a white owl swoop in from the upper right corner of the tree, down in front of the headlights, then up to the left.”
After the glowing object swooped down in front of them three more times, she and her husband determined it wasn’t an owl, although they weren’t sure what they saw, according to the Daily Mail. Newspaper report. The couple then reportedly saw a silent white light in the sky above them.
“As we all leaned forward against the windshield, we started seeing these lights, like I saw in the video,” she reportedly said.
“We just can’t make sense of what we’re seeing.”
Meanwhile, Ken set out to capture the moment at his home in Fredonia, five miles from Kimberley’s location, according to the Daily Mail. Neither wanted to give their surnames to the Daily Mail.
The outlet said the video showed four lights appearing before a fifth light flew in. All five lights then depart towards the horizon.
According to the Daily Mail, the night the video was shot was cloudy, but there were no storms or lightning.
The publication cites others who posted videos on social media around the same time and in the same region as Kimberly and Ken.
Earlier in the evening, Andrea Lynn reportedly filmed four videos of the colorful lights circling and moving quickly across the sky. One of the videos apparently shows a single white light appearing, then three additional lights flashing in a triangle around it before disappearing, followed by the central light disappearing.
The next day, Chris Novak told the Daily Mail that he and his family were driving when they saw strange lights in a cloudy evening sky and eventually started filming.
“I’ve really never seen anything like this before,” he reportedly said. “It’s like a row of lights going through the clouds and it’s going to flicker across the sky at incredible speed.”
He didn’t believe it was a searchlight.

Former FBI agent Ben Hansen, who also hosts the Discovery+ show “UFO Witness,” told the Daily Mail that most UFO sightings are now reported as “light anomalies,” which don’t have traditional shapes like cylinders and disks.
“When you consider the full scope of the sightings and the locations where they were filmed, this case becomes more and more remarkable,” Hansen reportedly said of the three recent cases in Wisconsin.
