Blue Ivy takes the stage with Beyoncé, her first concert in 5 years
Beyoncé’s return to the stage is a family affair.
Blue Ivy joined her mum on stage at the opening of the Royal Atlantis hotel in Dubai on Saturday night.
“Blue Ivy was released during ‘Brown Skin Girl,'” a source told us. “She looks grown up in red, she can dance, she has a microphone, but she can’t sing.”
Beyoncé also told the crowd that her husband Jay-Z was in attendance along with her parents Tina and Mathew Knowles, as well as her 5-year-old twins Rumi and Sir.
Within an hour and a half of the show, we were told it was starting more than an hour late, fans were forced to put their phones in their bags, and were even reprimanded by security if they were caught taking pictures.
Despite delays and strict phone restrictions, the 41-year-old “looked like a goddess” and “sounded perfect”.
She started her show with Etta James’ “Finally” and performed hits such as “Beautiful Lies,” “Halo” and “Crazy Love.” However, we’re told she’s not doing anything new.
This is Beyoncé’s first live concert appearance on the red carpet in a Dolce & Gabbana gown in nearly five years.
The Dubai show follows the release of her long-awaited seventh album “Renaissance,” which includes tracks like “Cuff It” and “Break My Soul.”
Page Six reported in September 2022 that Beyonce would be on the “Renaissance” tour this summer.
A source later revealed to us that the singer is booking stadiums around the world, including for her 2016 “Formation” world tour, and “On the Run” with husband Jay-Z in 2014 and 2018. tour.
Beyoncé teased that more music is on the way, describing “Renaissance” as the first part of a “three-act project” that came to fruition during the COVID-19 pandemic.
However, it is not known what the second and third acts will be.
“create [‘Renaissance’] Gave me a place to dream and escape during a scary time in the world,” she said wrote on instagram June 2022. “It made me feel free and adventurous when there wasn’t much going on.”
However, one thing fans can definitely look forward to is a collaboration with Britney Spears.
Earlier this month, multiple sources EXCLUSIVELY told Page Six that Beyoncé had asked Spears to appear in the new music video, but fell through.
