Best Laptops Reviewed by Zoomit in 1401

The 1401 is coming to an end, and with all the positive and negative things that have happened, it’s a good opportunity to review the best products we’ve reviewed this year.

Over the past year, Zomit has published 19 laptop reviews, ranging from budget laptops to ultrabooks and gaming models. Interestingly, the cost of purchasing a MacBook Air M1 RAM 8 Edition with 256GB of storage memory rose from 26 million won to over 45 million won during the same period! For a product released almost 2 years ago, the purchasing power of a laptop has dropped by 50% in just one year.

With those “fringe” items crossed out, we come to Asus, the first brand on the list to account for the most reviews of Zoomit laptops.

Zephyrus M16 2022 Laptop

The Zephyrus M16 enters the fray with one big claim: a powerful product that is less than 20 mm thick and weighs less than 2 kg. Our model at Zomit uses Intel’s Core i9-12900H chip and Nvidia’s GeForce RTX 3070 Ti graphics; but it’s also possible to buy this model with an RTX 3080 Ti graphics card.

As you’ve read in our ASUS Zephyrus M16 2022 review, 12th Gen Intel processors coupled with powerful RTX 3000 graphics from Nvidia’s laptop range breathe new soul into the Zephyrus M16 body; thanks to Team Blue’s 11th Gen The performance of the processor is inconsistent, which we did not see in the 2021 model.

Of course, the performance of the Zephyrus M16 has not always been positive and has flaws, the weakness of the cooling system being just one of them. Another thing that completely changes the nature of this laptop is the device’s battery-dependent operation. So much so that the performance of the central chip has dropped by 30%, and the graphics performance has dropped by nearly 400%!

The Zephyrus M16 sold for 80 million tomans at the time of review and in late May, but is now selling for over 120 million tomans.

Zephyrus G14 Laptop

Mehrdad Isalou sees the Zephyrus G14 laptop as a compact version of the Zephyrus M16, with the right size to deliver acceptable power for a gaming product. Perhaps the most interesting part of the Zephyrus G14 are the LEDs on the back, which are housed in 14,969 tiny machined holes. Of course, the number of LEDs is exactly 1449, which can also be customized.

But as you can probably guess, the Zephyrus G14 suffers from issues like overheating during heavy processing and weakness when properly charging, which can definitely be ignored to get reasonable gaming performance at such a small size.

The price factor is another weak spot that puts the G14 on the same level as more powerful models like the Zephyrus M16 and Legion 5 Pro.

ROG Strix Scar 15 2022 Laptop

The third and final representative of Asus is dedicated to 2022, the ROG Strix Scar 15; the laptop with a Core i9-12900H chip and RTX 3070 Ti graphics is one of the company’s most powerful gaming models.

Unlike the previous two models, the Strix Scar 15 does not heat up even during the heaviest of sessions and offers excellent stability thanks to its plastic body and efficient cooling system.

This model’s QHD display and its 240 Hz refresh rate are gaming laptop forte. Of course, due to the high power consumption of components, the problem of performance loss in unplugged mode still exists.

ROG Flow Z13 Gaming Tablet

Of course, the tablet’s presence on Zomit’s list of the best laptops doesn’t seem logical at first glance. But the ROG Flow Z13 has a keyboard and no tablet functionality. Therefore, we decided to include it on this list as a gaming laptop that doubles as a tablet.

From the moment you touch your body, you’ll notice the Z13’s well-crafted Flow. All parts of the fuselage are made of metal, which ensures its high wear resistance. The Z13 is about the same thickness as a laptop, and adding the keyboard only adds to the similarity.

The Z13 can be thought of as a cross between the Asus ROG Mothership and the Microsoft Surface Pro; even the device’s keyboard is a complete copy of the Surface’s keyboard. Asus also included a pen in the Flow Z13 box to appeal to design lovers among the device’s potential buyers.

But the Z13’s main reason for making the list is not its similarity to the Surface Pro, but its powerful hardware. Featuring a 12th-gen Core i9-12900H chip and RTX 3050 Ti graphics, this model is an excellent choice for gaming. On the other hand, there is no news of high screen resolution for this model yet, with a resolution of 1080p and a refresh rate of 120Hz, it can handle most of the screen games very well. At the same time, the heat dissipation system of the device also manages the temperature of the fuselage well, and there is no news of the fuselage overheating yet.
