Bent says Liverpool ace would be ‘unbelievable’ for Manchester City

Darren Bent once said talk about sports Liverpool right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold will be “incredible” for Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City.

The former Tottenham Hotspur striker believes Alexander-Arnold is still a top right-back and would do well under manager Pep Guardiola if he leaves Liverpool for Manchester City.

The talkSPORT pundit had his say on the 24-year-old England international right-back when discussing his midweek Champions League clash with Liverpool against Real Madrid.

Alexander-Arnold has not been at his best this season, especially defensively, and on £160,000-a-week (pay campaign) right-back struggled again with the defending European champions.

HITC verdict: Alexander-Arnold could get better

In our opinion, Liverpool right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold will get better in the next few years and we don’t think Anfield fans should have any concerns about him leaving Manchester City.

Granted, Alexander-Arnold did struggle in Spain against Real Madrid on Wednesday night.

The 24-year-old has not played all season.

However, Alexander-Arnold is only 24 years old.

Let’s not forget this.

We think the right-back has had a terrible season.

now it’s right.

Yes, of course Alexander-Arnold needs to get better defensively, but it will happen.

After all, the Liverpool right-back is still very young and has time on his hands.
